Privacy policy
How this site handles your data
This policy explains what data Starburst India collects, why, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it as an Indian player under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and equivalent regimes.
1. What we collect
Data collected when you use the site
- Server logs. IP address, timestamp, browser user agent, requested URL and referring URL. Standard web server logs.
- Analytics. Aggregated pageview, session and bounce-rate data. We use privacy-respecting analytics and do not link analytics events to a personal identity.
- Cookies. A small set of cookies for functional and analytics purposes. See the cookie policy for the full list.
- Form data. If you email the editorial or partnerships address, we hold the message and your reply-to address for the duration of the correspondence.
2. What we do not collect
What this site does not touch
We do not host gambling activity, so we do not collect KYC documents, payment details, casino account credentials, betting history or wallet balances. None of that data flows through this site at any point. KYC, payment and wallet data live with the casino operators you visit through the commercial routes linked here.
3. Why we collect it
Purpose
- To deliver the site itself and keep it secure.
- To understand which pages are useful to readers and which need editorial work.
- To attribute affiliate referrals correctly when you take a commercial route.
- To respond to your email when you contact us.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Affiliate routes pass anonymised referral identifiers, not your personal data.
4. Third-party links
What happens when you click out
The casinos and game pages linked from this site are independent third parties with their own privacy policies. The moment you follow one of those links, you enter their data environment. Read their privacy policy at the destination — we have no control over how an operator handles your data once you arrive.
5. Your rights
Rights under DPDPA and equivalent regimes
As an Indian player, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you the right to confirm whether we hold personal data about you, access it, correct it, and request erasure subject to legal retention obligations. To exercise any of these rights, email the editorial address listed on the contact page.
6. Retention
How long we keep data
- Server logs: typically 30 days, rolling.
- Analytics data: aggregated and anonymous, retained indefinitely.
- Email correspondence: for the duration of the correspondence plus a reasonable archival period, typically 12 months.
